A motorcyclist who was hurt in a crash Monday morning has died, according to Metro Police.
Police identified the man as 27-year-old Derrek Halbach of Las Vegas.
The crash happened around 8:47 a.m. at the intersection of Centennial Center and Grand Montecito parkways.
Police say Halbach was riding south on Centennial Center Parkway, when a truck pulled out from a parking lot and hit Halbach.
The driver and passenger in the truck had only minor injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
The motorcyclist killed in a collision in the northwest valley Thursday has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as Mark Erik Walwyn, of North Las Vegas.
Malwyn was riding his motorcycle fast in the left travel lane of Craig Road near Jadestone Avenue when he collided with a 2008 Honda Accord making a left turn in front of him just before 2 p.m., according to Las Vegas police.
The 43-year-old was thrown from his motorcycle and slid to a stop several hundred feet from the crash site, police said.
