A tragic hit-and-run collision on the Interstate Bridge in Marinette claimed the life of 48-year-old David Joseph Fournier of Menominee, Michigan in the early morning hours of July 15th. At approximately 2:18 a.m., Marinette County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a bicyclist struck by a vehicle on the bridge connecting Wisconsin and Michigan. First responders arrived to find Fournier unresponsive at the scene. Despite immediate lifesaving measures by emergency personnel, he was pronounced dead at the location.
