Aamar Harrell, 19, succumbed to injuries following a vehicle collision with a tree on Territorial Road in Jackson, Michigan

Investigators say the vehicle driven by a 20-year-old Jackson female left the road at a high rate of speed and hit a tree. The driver and male front seat passenger were taken to the University of Michigan hospital in critical condition. Harrell was in the back seat and succumbed to his injuries.
