Crash on Knik-Goose Bay Road kills Wasilla woman
Alaska State Troopers arrived at the scene of the single-vehicle wreck that killed 49-year-old Lora Mahoney, near Mile 12 of the road, at about 3:15 p.m., according to a dispatch.
"On-scene investigation revealed that (Mahoney) was southbound on Knik-Goose Bay Road when her vehicle crossed the centerline, drove across the opposing lane of travel, left the roadway, and collided with a tree," troopers wrote. "Mahoney was pronounced deceased on scene."
