U.S. 65 wreck kills Pine Bluff boy; 4 injured
A Pine Bluff boy was killed and four other people were injured in an accident Saturday morning in Jefferson County, according to a preliminary report from Arkansas State Police.
A 2006 Dodge Durango driven by Phillip Cummins, 28, of Pine Bluff was traveling on U.S. 65 at the Cottondale Road overpass when it left the roadway and struck a guardrail around 6:20 a.m., according to the report. A passenger was thrown from the Durango and struck by a 2015 Nissan Altima, the report said.
