Officers with the Aurora Police Department (APD) responded to the area of East Colfax Avenue and North Joliet Street around 11:15 p.m. and found a 56-year-old man lying in the eastbound lanes with serious injuries. He died at the scene and will be identified at a later time by the Arapahoe County Coroner's Office.

Shortly after 3 a.m. Friday, police found the vehicle and the driver, who was identified as 21-year-old Jose Moya, along the 13600 block of E. Colfax Avenue.
