Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run collision at South Cherry Street and South Leetsdale Drive in Glendale, Colorado
Police described the car involved as a white, four-door Hyundai or Nissan with a partial plate of 118. The car should have a broken windshield and front end damage, police said.
The suspect vehicle was a 2015 White Hyundai Sonata CO Plate 717ODQ, “with heavy front end and windshield damage,” according to the CBI.
The Lake County Sheriff's Office said the vehicle was found burning on Highway 91 but did not provide a specific location. "Once extinguished it was determined that there was a human body inside. The vehicle suffered extensive damage due to the fire," police said.
Authorities have identified the man found dead in a burned vehicle that was allegedly involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash in the Denver area earlier this month.
