Teenager Dies After Crash in Bolton

An 18-year-old has died and two other people are in the hospital after the car they were riding in slammed into a cluster of trees and bushes in Bolton early Saturday morning, according to police.

A single-car accident left one 18-year-old passenger dead and two injured early Saturday, police said. Cody Morra, 18 of Bolton, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Both Kyle Christensen, 20 of Bolton, and Andrew Leardi, 16 of Columbia, were transported to Hartford Hospital for their injuries.

Driver Charged With DUI, Manslaughter in Bolton Fatal Crash

Police charged Christensen with second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle, second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first-degree reckless endangerment with no intimidation intended, traveling unreasonably fast, reckless driving and failure to drive right.

A single-car accident left one 18-year-old passenger dead and two injured early Saturday, police said.

Cody Morra, 18 of Bolton, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Both Kyle Christensen, 20 of Bolton, and Andrew Leardi, 17 of Columbia, were transported to Hartford Hospital for their injuries.

Police said the car was traveling south on Rt. 85 around 1 a.m. when it hit one tree before hitting a second tree and coming to a stop.

Police are still investigating the accident.
