3 hospitalized after Lehigh Acres crash

All three people were taken to local hospitals. LCEC is expected to be on scene for some time replacing the damaged power pole, which may cause some traffic issues on Joel Boulevard.

Two pickup trucks collided at an intersection in Lehigh Acres. One of the pickups rolled over in the crash, trapping two elderly occupants inside until firefighters freed them. The other pickup slammed into a power pole, snapping the pole. All three of the people were taken to local hospitals. Traffic issues are expected while crews replace the power pole.
