Motorcyclists die in State Road 82 accident

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. -- Troopers say two people on a motorcycle died Sunday night when they failed to stop at a stop sign. According to Florida Highway Patrol, around 9:15pm Sunday, the motorcycle was headed south on Alabama Road approaching State Road 82 when the driver failed to stop, causing the motorcycle to tip over and slide across S.R. 82. That's when an SUV heading east on S.R. 82 ran over the motorcycle. 48-year-old Jack Linn of Nokomis and 43-year-old Jennifer Chrisman of Estero died at the scene. The occupants of the SUV were uninjured. No charges have been filed.
