Monte A. Thomson Jr. and Leo C. Neal, both 17, killed in single-vehicle crash on West Hayden Avenue in Post Falls, Idaho
Deputies say a driver in a 2002 Jaguar convertible was speeding westbound on Hayden Avenue from Idaho Road, crashing through a fence, rolling and then crashing through a line of trees, striking a gas line before coming to a stop.
A 17-year-old boy from Post Falls, Idaho and a 17-year-old boy from Verdale, Washington were both killed in the crash.
The wreck killed two teens, both of whom were 17-years-old. Authorities identified the victims as Monte A. Thomson Jr., from Spokane Valley (Veradale) and Leo C. Neal from Post Falls.

The sheriff's office traffic team has determined that excessive speed caused the loss of control has the car left the road traveling over 80 mph.
