The person killed in the collision involving a medic unit and a full-size pickup truck was the front-seat passenger in the private ambulance, Mechanicsburg Fire Lt. Matt Bebout said.

The Champaign County Sheriff's Office reports that Jeremy Fetters, 23, of Plain City, was driving a 2011 Chevy MedCare ambulance northbound on Parkview Road when he pulled into the path of an eastbound 2002 Ford F350 pickup on 36 operated by Matthew Wallen, 21, of St. Paris.
