A four-door sedan caught fire after crashing into a home in south suburban Dolton late Sunday.
The incident occurred about 11:30 p.m. in the 200 block of East 141st Street after a woman lost control of her vehicle, drove through the home’s fence and ultimately struck the rear of the residence, said a Dolton Fire Engineer.
A fireman added that no one inside the home was injured, but that the driver was taken to MetroSouth Medical Center.
Her condition – and whether alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash – is unclear as of 2:20 a.m.
