Driver Arrested After Fatal Accident

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Department says an SUV going southbound on Highway 77 rear-ended a pickup between Raymond and Mill roads shortly after 10:30 a.m.

Lancaster County Sheriff's officials say 50-year-old Randall Woita of Weston, Neb. died Sunday morning following a rollover accident near Raymond.

Fatal Crash Kills Weston Man on Highway 77

The Lancaster County Sheriff's Office said a Sunday morning crash on Highway 77 just north of Lincoln, killed a Weston man.

Guilty plea for fatal crash

Cazun plead guilty today to one count of manslaughter, as well as driving under the influence of K2, or synthetic marijuana. Cazun could face between one to 20 years in prison for the manslaughter charge, and up to five years for driving under the influence.
Woita was pronounced dead at the scene, and two other passengers in the pickup that was rear-ended were taken to Bryan West Hospital, though their injuries were non-life threatening. Cazun was uninjured in the crash, and has since been arrested for DUI, refusing to take a chemical test, and reckless driving among others.
