Police in the town of Lancaster tell local media that a driver heading south on Transit Road around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday veered into an oncoming pickup truck and a third vehicle struck the pickup.

Officers say the driver of the third vehicle involved in the crash was killed.

"At this time, we believe that he just veered into the oncoming lane of traffic. There was no turn involved. As far as the reason why he did that, we don't know," said Rozler.
One man has been killed and four others injured in an accident that occurred shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday on Transit Road between William Street and Como Park Boulevard in Lancaster. A car was driving south on Transit Road toward Strasmer Road when it veered into oncoming traffic. The car crashed head-on into a pickup that was in the northbound lane. A third vehicle swerved to avoid the pickup when it became involved in the collision.
