61-year-old crashed electric scooter to avoid collision with an SUV on Northwest Main Street in Winston, Oregon

Information from Winston Police said the accident happened just after 4:20 p.m. in the 500 block of Northwest Main Street. Sergeant Mike Miller said the 30-year female scooter rider was heading south on Main Street near Northeast Baker Street. The 61-year old female motorist was getting ready to leave the parking lot of a business and was waiting for traffic to clear.
