San Antonio, TXAt around 2:30pm, witnesses claim they heard a "popping" sound come from an overhead plane, that then attempted to land in a field but failed and crash-landed into a ravine, causing the aircraft to combust. The pilot, Frederick Langston, suffered severe burns and had to be airlifted to San Antonio Military Medical Center. The cause of the crash has yet to be determined.

San Antonio, TXTwo people died in a crash Friday just after 12:30 a.m. in Boerne, according to the Boerne Police Department.
The crash occurred after a call came in for a wrong-way driver at the 540 mile marker of Interstate 10, according to police.
Three helicopter ambulances were called to the scene, according to police.
Mary Hodsdon, 21, was one of the people who died, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner's office.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating.
