The southbound Interstate 5 off-ramp to Oceanside Boulevard was shut down for several hours after a big rig overturned, according to Caltrans.
The incident was reported shortly before 11 a.m. and does not appear to involve any other vehicles.
The off-ramp was reopened at about 2:15 p.m.
No injuries were immediately reported.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
A collision on Interstate 5 south of Joint Base Lewis-McChord has killed one person when a pickup truck in the northbound lanes crossed the median into the southbound lanes and hit a box truck and a semi truck. The man, between 25 and 35 years old, was in the southbound lanes of the freeway north of Old Town Avenue when he was hit about 3:15 a.m., the office said.
He was dead when authorities arrived.
