Some high school students were walking home on Quail Drive when a car that a witness claims was going at least 60 mph rounded the corner and struck Phalanda Damus, 17, before proceeding to strike four other teenagers. A witness also said that the front two tires of the car were flat. Eventually the speeding vehicle hit a tree and caught fire, and three people got out and ran away. All of the teenagers were taken to the hospital, treated, and released. Despite search efforts, the suspects have not yet been found; check back for updates.
