A woman being transported to a hospital in an ambulance that was T-boned by a car Friday has died. The Bexar County Medical Examiner confirmed Saturday that Jessie Lucear, 72, died shortly after the crash, which happened just before 11 a.m. on North Loop 1604 West and Shaenfield Road. It was unclear exactly what role the collision played in Lucear's death, if any. The ambulance was making a left turn at a green traffic light onto Shaenfield Road from Loop 1604.
