Hi, Simone. The only identifying information I was able to find at this time was that the victim was a 48-year-old woman, and the the driver was a 26-year-old man. I've updated the post with some additional news stories, and we'll continue to update if we receive anything else. I hope this helps.  Jane Lindelof, Accident Data Center staff

The driver told me his name was Rene but he was claiming he didn't know the woman, so we didn't get her name :-(

No she wasent. Her daughter was with her first grand child. Im her nephew.

Me and my husband were the only witnesses of this accident, I wanted to ask if they found out the name of the woman, we tried to help her :-(

Hi Valerie, I just did research and am still unable to find the victim's name. I will keep an eye out for that information and will update our post as soon as I get it. I'm sure the victim's family will be comforted to know that you were at the scene and tried to help her. Ingrid Taylor, Managing Editor Accident Data Center

My friends and I were at the Drury when it happened we saw everything out the window and I called it in. It was so loud and looked terrible. I just learned she had died.

I feel so bad that there was nothing we could do, we were actually on our way to the Baptist Hospital and I was crying because I jad received a call from my mom that my grandmother was dying and I needed to go, so while on our way, I was talking to my husband and crying, I didnt see the truck, my husband pulled the wheel to the right so I wouldnt hit them, when I parked on the side he got off and ran to check who was in the truck and then we saw rhe lady on the street, he checked her pulse and said she had a very light one and then I checked and she didnt have one!! :'( I almost got ran over by a mustang while beside her and my husband was flagging them cause he didnt want them to hit her!! :'( By the time we finally were able to make it to the parking lot of the hospital, I got a text that my grandma was gone, May they both Rest In Peace!!
