A man died when he collided head-on with another car in Tamarac early Saturday morning. A BSO deputy observed a black Infiniti driving erratically around 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning, and tried to pull the vehicle over, but the driver sped away, heading eastbound on Commercial Boulevard. The deputy followed policy and did not begin a chase, but put out a "be on the lookout". A 911 call came in minutes later regarding a collision on Commercial Blvd, where the driver of the Infiniti crossed over the median and crashed head-on with a Jeep Grand Cherokee SUV.

A Sunrise man died Sunday evening after his motorcycle collided with the rear of a car in Tamarac. Francheska Roldan, 24, of Ft. Lauderdale, was driving a Hyundai eastbound on West Commercial Boulevard around 6:00 p.m. Sunday when she made a u-turn and was rear-ended by Brandon Cramasta, 29, of Sunrise. Cramasta was transported by air to Broward Health Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.

Authorities are looking for a driver who was involved in a hit-and-run crash that ended in a fatality in Tamarac Sunday morning.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, two trucks were involved in a crash on Commercial Boulevard near the Florida's Turnpike and one of the drivers got out to look at the damage.

When the driver, later identified as John W. Jenkins, got out, he was struck by another car. He suffered severe injuries and died, the BSO said.

The driver of the truck involved in the initial crash then fled the scene. The second car stayed at the scene.
