Harrisonburg, VASandra L. Martin, 44, and her daughter, Haylee Martin, 12, a 6th grader at Kate Collins Middle School, both were pronounced deceased at the crash scene. Kenneth Barber, the driver of the vehicle that collided with the Martins, is being held without bail. He is charged with two counts of DUI manslaughter. He will be back in court on August 11.

Harrisonburg, VAPolice were dispatched to the 1900 block of Lyndhurst Road at about 4:13 p.m. and arrived to find a single vehicle had hit a tree. Legg was in the 2005 Chevrolet four-door, unresponsive, and died at the scene. The car was traveling north on Lyndhurst Rd. when it left the road for unknown reason, traveled up an embankment, and finally crashed into the tree.
