 A 75 year old man, David Brenchley, was killed after losing control of his vehicle and rolling on Highway 395 Friday afternoon. Brenchley was driving south on Highway 395 near Ritzville with four kids in the car, ages 10 to 11 when the crash happened. According to troopers, Brenchley drifted into the median, tried to overcorrect and rolled the car. The four kids were taken to an Adams County hospital for their injuries and Brenchley died at the scene. The four kids were treated, then released and are predicted to be fine.

Eddylou Donovan was involved in the crash when her vehicle exited the road and onto the median. When she tried to drive back onto the roadway, she was struck by a Ford pickup driven by Steven Johnson of Spokane. A third person, Paul Olkowski, pulled over to help, exited his car and was struck by a hit-and-run driver. Donovan died Saturday at a hospice house. Since the crash, Paul Olkowski of Sonora, California, continues to recover from injuries at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane. WSP has identified the hit-and-run driver as 19-year-old Skylar Fredrickson of Post Falls, Idaho.

Salvador Ramos Escareno was driving north on State Route 17 when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 67-year-old Sandra D. Dodge. Escareno was taken to Othello Community Hospital with undisclosed injuries, and his car was totalled. Dodge had been headed east on Bench Road and failed to yield to northbound traffic on SR-17. She was not injured.

East 26th near Mile Post 65 in Adams County, Washington has been fully blocked from traffic following a two-car, head-on accident that happened on Wednesday night. Two people were killed in the accident, identifed as Chandler Tran, 19, and Kylie Hammington, 42. Police are investigating if drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident. The two vehicles burst into flames because of the collision.What money damages are recoverable in a death claim?
