Othello crash injures Grandview man
A Grandview man was injured this morning in a two-car crash on State Route 17 two miles south of Othello that the Washington State Patrol said was due to the other driver’s failure to yield.
Salvador Ramos Escareno was driving north on State Route 17 when he was struck by a vehicle driven by 67-year-old Sandra D. Dodge. Escareno was taken to Othello Community Hospital with undisclosed injuries, and his car was totalled. Dodge had been headed east on Bench Road and failed to yield to northbound traffic on SR-17. She was not injured.
