Washington, DCRachel Diane Brand of Woodbridge was arrested Friday on charges of felony child neglect and drunken driving after police found her driving a vehicle with extensive side damage and deployed airbags. Brand's vehicle struck a construction barrel, and she was connected to an earlier hit-and-run collision on I-95. Brand's daughter was in the vechicle at the time of the arrest.

Sunday, September 14, 2014Shelton Joseph, 19, was arrested for DUI causing serious bodily injury in the crash that happened around 2 a.m. Sunday in the northbound lanes of I-95 at Northwest 103rd Street. Joseph was taken into custody at the scene.

Sunday, January 26, 2014The Florida Highway Patrol arrested a driver in an overnight hit-and-run crash on Interstate 95 South. A driver hit a car at about 1:15 a.m. Monday on I-95, just north of Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach. FHP said no one was seriously hurt, but the truck connected to the crash was later found. The driver was arrested and charged with DUI and fleeing the scene of an accident. FHP has not released the name of the person facing charges.

Philadelphia, PAA day of merriment ended in tragedy over the weekend when a man dressed in a Santa suit was hit and killed on a busy interstate in Philadelphia.
Adam Herr, 24, was walking along I-95 in the Fishtown area of Philadelphia when a passing car struck and killed the Lebanon, Pa. native.
The victim's father, told the Daily News that his son was in the city for the annual Running of the Santa's Saturday.
A friend filed a missing person report for Adam after he left the group he was eating dinner with after the race.
It is unclear how Herr ended up on I-95.
