A teen and a 56-year-old woman were killed in a crash that happened Saturday along Interstate 95 in Flagler County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at 5:25 p.m. Saturday on I-95 southbound near mile marker 288.
Troopers said Roy White, 38, was driving his 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 northbound on I-95 and for an unknown reason drifted in a north-easterly direction onto the east shoulder.
A motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash on a Palm Coast road on Thursday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
State troopers said the rider, whose identity has not been released, was heading north on U.S. 1, just north of Seminole Woods Parkway.
Troopers said the road begins to curve to the left, and while in the curve, the rider continued straight and crashed on the right shoulder of the road after striking a concrete culvert.
The motorcycle came to rest in a ditch behind a barrier, obscured from passing traffic, troopers said.
A 71-year-old Palm Coast man died in a fiery crash Thursday morning after suffering an apparent medical episode, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
State troopers said Henry Cornish was heading westbound on Central Avenue at Brookhaven Way about 10:50 p.m. after leaving a medical appointment.
Troopers said he traveled onto the south shoulder of Central Avenue and into a woodline. They said his car's undercarriage struck a tree stump and the car caught fire.
Cornish died at the scene.
A stretch of Interstate 95 in Flagler County will reopen by 6 p.m. after being closed when a driver was killed in a fiery crash that damaged the roadway, officials said.
In a tweet earlier on Tuesday, the Flagler County sheriff said, "NB 95 FROM PALM COAST PKWY TO US1 WILL BE CLOSED UP TO 24 HOURS DUE TO CRASH."
Florida Highway Patrol crews were called around 4 a.m. Tuesday to I-95 northbound near Palm Coast Parkway in Palm Coast in reference to a crash.
