Diane Upton, 58, killed, Vivian Upton, 5, and Kalyn Upton, 24, seriously injured in a car crash on State Road 100 in Palm Coast, Florida

Diane Upton, 58, of Palm Coast, was driving south from Landing Boulevard on a green light crossing State Road 100 about 9:40 p.m. Saturday when her car was hit by a car heading west on 100 driven by Rebecca Lawless, 26, also of Palm Coast. Upton was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others in her car, Vivian Upton, 5, and Kalyn Upton, 24, were both taken to Halifax Health Medical Center with serious injuries. Lawless wasn't hurt in the accident and charges are pending against her for failing to stop at the red light.
