Houston, TXA jet ski was pulling a tube with two people on it when it either stalled or was turned off and he lost control of the steering. The driver crashed into the two people on the tube, sending them off of it. One was recovered and CPR was performed. The other person in the tube, a 21-year-old man, never surfaced and his body was later found by dive team members.

Houston, TXA Mother's Day outing on the water turned into a devastating tragedy for one local family.
A family from the Mont Belveiu-Dayton area took an outing on the Trinity River to celebrate Mother's Day. Sheriff Brian Hawthorne says the father was driving the family boat while his wife rode along and watched family members riding on a large tube towed behind the boat.

Houston, TXA woman floated out of her submerged car Thursday morning as it was pulled from Lake Houston nearly an hour after she plunged into the water, officials said.
The incident occurred about 9 a.m. at the Duessen Park Boat Ramp, according to the Houston Fire Department.
As the car was being towed from the water, the woman floated out a broken window, said a spokeswoman for the Harris County Sheriff's Office. She was gasping for air.
