Monday, March 23, 2015Highway 29 was closed in Napa County near Mt. St. Helena Sunday night after a car accident. The accident occurred at around 8:50 PM when a car became entangled in fallen power lines. The accident occurred during rainfall in the area, however it is not known whether weather conditions were a factor in the accident. A second crash in the area occurred afterwords.

Austin, TXA Saturday morning accident involving a semi truck has left one person dead in Burnet, Texas. At approximately 6 AM in the 2100 block of Highway 29 East David Shoot, 36, lost control of his truck on the icy road, causing it to slide sideways across Highway 29. Meanwhile, Manuel Galindo-Camacho, 37 was driving his van and was unable to stop his vehicle, resulting in the collision. Galindo-Camacho was declared dead shortly after the accident.
