Maria Elena Lemus, 41, was driving a in a 2002 Ford Windstar when the van side-swiped a 2012 Freightliner tractor-trailer, ran off the road and overturned. Passenger Angela Lemus Lopez, 61, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Three other passengers were brought to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. No one was wearing a seatbelt. The driver of the tractor trailor was not injured.

Houston, TXA man is dead after driving the wrong way and crashing into an 18-wheeler.
According to the Houston Police Department, a man was driving a white Chevy Silverado pickup truck around 10:00 p.m. Friday.
The man somehow got on the westbound feeder lanes of I-10 going eastbound, the wrong direction
The driver then slammed head-on into an 18-wheeler going westbound.
The 25-year-old driver of the pickup truck was trapped in the truck and had to be extricated once police arrived.
He was taken to Hermann Memorial Hospital by Lifeflight in critical condition, where he later died.
