One person was killed and three people were injured early Wednesday morning in a Burien crash. The collision happened at the intersection of 112th and 12th Avenue before 3 a.m when a vehicle crashed into a tree. There were three men and one woman, believed to be in their 20s, in the vehicle. One person died at the scene and the three others were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Deputies believe speed and fog were factors in the crash and it is unknown if alcohol was involved.

Two people were killed when their car veered off a Seattle roadway and rolled, police reported. The crash occurred shortly before 3 a.m. today, when a Ford Mustang convertible traveling north on Lakeview Avenue East, lost control and left the road, a Seattle police spokeswoman reported on the department’s website. The Mustang went sideways and hit a fire hydrant, which caused it to roll onto its roof, Witt said. Seattle fire personnel treated the car’s three occupants, pronouncing the driver and a passenger dead at the scene.

A 5-year-old was critically injured after a car hit a tree overnight in Auburn. The 21-year-old male driver and an 8-year-old girl have non-life threatening injuries. The car was traveling 90 mph when it ran off the road around 2:30 a.m. and hit a tree on Auburn Way South. Emergency crews had to help free the man and boy after they were trapped in the car. Authorities say the girl managed to get out without help. Police are investigating to determine if alcohol was a factor in the accident.

A 69-year-old pedestrian hit by a car in Seattle’s Fairmount Park Neighborhood Sunday night has died. About 9:15 p.m., a Ford sedan was traveling northbound on 35th Avenue Southwest. As the Ford entered the intersection of Southwest Graham Street, the Ford struck a pedestrian, police said. The man suffered life-threatening injuries but was conscious and alert when medics arrived. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center where he died from his injuries a short time later. More than four hours after the crash occurred investigators were still working the scene.

A 90-year-old Issaquah man died of injuries from a car crash Friday afternoon. According to police, two cars were turning onto East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast from Northwest Sammamish Road about 3 p.m. when they collided, causing one of the cars to hit a tree. The driver of that car and the passenger were taken to Swedish Medical Center in Issaquah, where the 90-year-old passenger died from his injuries. The driver of the other car was not injured, according to police, who are still investigating and did not identify any of the people involved.

A 21-year-old Renton man was killed early Friday when his car slammed into a utility pole at high speed. Officers and medics responded to the scene, in the 1100 block of South Carr Road, at about 2:20 a.m. after receiving a report of a serious crash. A witness told investigators that the car was heading west at high speed when it veered off the roadway and crashed into a utility pole. The 21-year-old driver was the only one in the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A utility crew had to shut off power before the body could be removed.

The driver of an SUV who crashed into a pole in Seattle’s Rainier Valley Sunday night has been arrested on vehicular assault charges. The collision occurred at  Rainier Avenue South and South Willow Street shortly after 9 p.m., where a SUV with a driver and three passengers had collided with a telephone pole at a high rate of speed. The driver, a 27-year-old man, had a broken leg. One passenger, who was ejected from the back seat, had serious injuries. Another passenger had minor injuries from the crash.

A driver went down an embankment onto State Route 509 in Burien, causing a five-vehicle collision, and a husband and wife were critically injured. Five vehicles were involved. The at-fault vehicle came down an embankment on the west side of the road and rolled over when it hit SR 509. Another vehicle hit that vehicle, then was hit by a least three other vehicles. The driver of the vehicle that caused the collision tried to run away on foot, but was arrested by King County sheriff’s deputies.

A passenger was critically injured Sunday in a collision that blocked all lanes on northbound Interstate 405 Kirkland for hours, troopers said. The crash happened before noon on the northbound lanes of I-405 at Northeast 116th, just north of the 520 bridge. Troopers said the driver of a pickup truck was traveling at a high speed when he struck a Honda and rolled over. A passenger in the truck was ejected from the vehicle. She was taken to Harborview Medical Center and is in critical condition. The driver has serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Six people, including five in a bridal party, were injured Saturday evening in a two-car accident in Kirkland. The accident occurred around 6 p.m. on Juanita Drive. A southbound vehicle crossed the centerline and struck a northbound vehicle occupied by five females, all members of a bridal party. The southbound driver was ejected from her vehicle and transported to Harborview Medical Center with a possible brain injury. The five women in the northbound vehicle were taken to Evergreen Health hospital with possible broken bones and other serious injuries.
