The crash occurred shortly before 3 a.m. today, when a Ford Mustang convertible traveling north on Lakeview Avenue East, lost control and left the road, a Seattle police spokeswoman reported on the department’s website. The Mustang went sideways and hit a fire hydrant, which caused it to roll onto its roof, Witt said. Seattle fire personnel treated the car’s three occupants, pronouncing the driver and a passenger dead at the scene. Another passenger suffered minor injuries and was taken to Harborview Medical Center. UPDATE: The two deceased victims have been identified as Julian Gray-Florance and Arthur Sawe.
