Five adults and three children were injured in a head-on crash in north St. Louis Friday evening. St. Louis Fire officials said two of the children and four adults suffered serious injuries, but said none of the injuries appear life threatening. All of these involved were transported to the hospital. Authorities said the accident happened around 5 p.m. at North Broadway and Pitzman. Police have not said what caused the accident.

A man driving a stolen car t-boned another vehicle, injuring a family of four on Thursday evening. Police say just after 6 p.m., a car owner was warming up his vehicle near Rainier Avenue South and South Othello Street when an unknown man jumped inside the car. The car’s owner left a gun inside, and when he went to confront the suspect, the suspect showed the owner he had already taken the gun. The suspect drove north on Rainier with the owner chasing after him in another car. A patrol officer saw the vehicle and began following it.

A teenage bicyclist was in critical condition Thanksgiving night after a hit-and-run driver struck him in Long Beach, authorities said. The crash was reported shortly before 5 p.m. near 61st Street and Linden Avenue (map), according to a spokesperson for the Long Beach Fire Department. A 15-year-old boy was riding his bike west on 61st Street when he rode through a stop sign and was struck by a light-colored sedan, possibly a Nissan Altima, traveling north on Linden Avenue, authorities said.

Three adults, including a Louisville Metro Police officer, and one child were injured in an accident around 11 a.m. Thursday on the Watterson Expressway near Bell Lane. An LMPD officer was helping a motorist whose white pickup was stopped on the side of the road on the westbound side of the expressway, according to an LMPD spokesperson. While the driver of the pickup was speaking to the officer, a silver Scion truck hit the rear driver’s side corner of the police car.

A 1-year-old Tahlequah girl died in an accident with a pickup on Thanksgiving, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. October French was taken to a hospital, where she died of head injuries, according to a patrol report. How the girl died is still under investigation, but the patrol said the girl was not in a vehicle when she was struck about 6 p.m. in a private driveway just west of the Tahlequah city limits in Cherokee County. Adrian Sanders, 18, of Tahlequah, was driving the pickup. No one else was hurt.

A 13-year-old girl was at the wheel of a car when the vehicle struck a tree in Olympia Fields Wednesday and killed a 12-year-old passenger inside, according to friends and family members of the victim. Twelve-year-old Almani Kreamer, a sixth-grader, died from his injuries. 4 teens where in the car at the time of the accident. The crash occurred shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday in the 600 block of Brookwood Terrace. Authorities believe the driver may have been speeding at the time of the accident.

7-year-old girl was killed and her mother was seriously injured Tuesday when an out of control sports utility vehicle hit the two on a Dorchester sidewalk, Boston police said. The driver of the vehicle, identified as Olivia Mora, of Concord, N.H., will face charges of motor vehicle homicide and driving under the influence, police said. The incident happened on Olney Street about 2:15 p.m., as the girl and her mother were walking from the Holland Elementary School, just a block away, according to police.

A baby girl was killed in a fiery crash on a Westchester highway Tuesday morning when the vehicle she was in, driven by her father, slammed into a tree, police say. The 24-year-old father appeared to be speeding alongside another car on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Yonkers when he veered from the right lane across two lanes of traffic, went up an embankment and struck the tree shortly before 11:30 a.m., just south of the Jackson Avenue exit, Yonkers and state police said.

A driver involved in a hit-and-run accident that critically injured two children in another vehicle last month in Chandler has pleaded not guilty in the case. Maricopa County prosecutors say 43-year-old Nathan Joseph Painter entered his plea Monday. His next scheduled court appearance is Jan. 14. Chandler police arrested Painter on suspicion of aggravated assault, endangerment and hit-and-run charges in the Oct. 26 crash. Authorities say Painter apparently lost control of his pickup truck, ran off a road and collided with the rear of a car on another road. The car rolled twice.

New Orleans police arrested a 44-year-old man Saturday evening for his alleged involvement in a multiple car pile-up that sent a 29-year-old woman and her 2-year-old nephew falling off the Interstate 10 high rise bridge in eastern New Orleans a week ago. Police booked Ervin Freeman into Central Lockup around 9 p.m. with two counts of manslaughter and one count of felony hit-and-run.
