One man was killed and another man injured when a car struck a tree in Kent at about 4:04 a.m. Friday in the 9200 block of South 208th Street. Both the driver and passenger are 20-year-old men from Kent. Their names have not yet been released by Kent Police. Two teenagers were injured Thursday when they tried to run across a busy Renton street and were hit by a car. The boys, who have not been identified, were trying to cross NE 4th Street in the 3700 block just before 5 p.m. when they were hit. They were not in a crosswalk and police say traffic on the road was very heavy. One of the teens was seriously injured and was rushed to Harborview Medical Center to be treated for head and body injuries. The second boy was taken to Overlake Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
