A tour bus heading back from a Southern California casino crashed on a freeway east of Los Angeles early Monday, injuring 13 people, authorities said.
The bus went off the shoulder of an Interstate 10 off-ramp in Baldwin Park shortly after 4:30 a.m., a California Highway Patrol Officer said.
The bus wheels went into a small drainage ditch and it came to rest against a fence and light pole but remain upright.
Eleven people received minor injuries and two received moderate injuries, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after he was struck near a Chillum, Md., intersection Monday morning.
Police said the man was crossing Chillum Road near Queens Chapel Road at 6:20 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle traveling southbound on Chillum Road.
The victim was unresponsive when emergency crews arrived at the scene. He was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
It appears the pedestrian was not in the crosswalk at the time of the accident, investigators said.

Moses Galang was hit by a silver Honda and a van near Bruceville Road and Cosumnes River Boulevard on Monday. The Honda stayed at the scene.
The van is described as a white or light colored late 1970s to early 1980s Ford or Chevy full-size van with a raised roof cap. The cap is described as a camper or ice cream-type van top where the occupant can stand up inside. There is no description of the occupants, including the driver.
