A 24-year-old Riverview man died early Saturday from injuries sustained in a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of US 41 and Pembroke Rd. in Hillsborough County.

Ryan L. Leguizamon was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report the incident occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. Investigators say a 2014 semi pulling a trailer was heading east on Pembroke Rd. when the driver attempted to make a left turn onto northbound US 41.

Police are investigating a crash involving three vehicles on the city's south side.

Police say around 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning, one vehicle crossed the center line and hit another one near Southport and Bluff roads. Then a third vehicle crashed into the other two.

Emergency crews had to cut the roof off a car to get someone out.

Police did not say how many people were hurt, but did report serious injuries.

The accident happened near a railroad crossing. The track was inspected and officials say it was not damaged during the crash.

Icy roads may be to blame for a fatal accident in the Northland on Saturday.

It happened on Highway 152 near North Indiana Ave., just before 4 p.m.

Kansas City Police say one person died after their vehicle went off the overpass.
The other person in the car sustained injuries, but the extent of those injuries are unknown.

A pedestrian is hit and killed by a train in Harford County.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. near Aberdeen.

That’s where Amtrak officials say a train heading to Boston struck a trespasser.
That person died from their injuries.

About 300 passengers were on board the train at the time of the accident.
No one else was hurt.

Four firefighters and a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper responding to an accident were injured when a another vehicle cross the median on Interstate 70 Saturday afternoon.

According to a spokesperson with the Missouri Highway Patrol, the vehicle was headed eastbound on Interstate 70 going too fast for the road conditions when it ran off the highway, over the median cable and into the emergency crews. The accident happened near mile marker 77 in Saline County, near Marshall.

Four employees at a plant in Pinson were injured Saturday afternoon in an explosion, and authorities have not yet determined the cause of the blast.

Center Point Fire Department personnel responded to a report of an explosion at Pinson Valley Heat Treating Co. around noon.

All four employees were taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, West said.

Their conditions are not known at this time.

The plant is located at 6179 Sunrise Drive.

Police are investigating a crash that occurred on I-40E near Donelson Pike on Saturday morning.

A dark-colored SUV collided with a sedan, hit a guardrail, and rolled over before coming to rest on the concrete retaining wall.

Three women in the SUV were transported to Vanderbilt with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the sedan was not hurt in the crash.

Authorities shut down a portion of the interstate following the incident.

A 23-year-old Nisswa, Minn., man was killed in a broadside collision Friday in central Minnesota, the State Patrol said.

Lucas A. Johnson, a passenger in a car, was killed in a collision with a van.

The State Patrol said Cody D. Husemoller, 20, of Duluth, was driving south on Hwy. 10 in Royalton, which is in Morrison County, when the accident occurred on the wet, divided road just before 11 a.m.

One man was killed and another injured after their vehicle struck a guard rail in South Dallas early Saturday morning.

Police responded to the scene in the 4600 block of RL Thornton Freeway at Ann Arbor Avenue at 3:18 a.m. According to police, no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
The driver of the vehicle managed to exit the vehicle following the crash, but later collapsed and was pronounced deceased.

The condition of the passenger is unknown.
Authorities are still investigating to determine factors that may have contributed to the crash.

The right and center lanes of Interstate 95 Southbound in Yulee were closed for nearly 10 hours Saturday morning while officials cleaned up after a morning crash involving a tractor trailer.

Around 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning a semi carrying produce crashed in Nassau County, leaving debris all over the interstate near mile marker 371.

The Florida Highway Patrol said around 11:00 a.m. Saturday morning they expected lanes to be closed for several more hours and they were closed until after 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
