Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the accident around 12:45 p.m. Thursday on South Interstate 35 in Onion Creek.
EMS says a man on a motorcycle heading northbound on I-35 struck a guard rail on the overpass and fell 25 feet.
First responders say the man has non-life theatening injuries and was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge.
An Army combat medic was first on the scene and administered first aid before EMS arrived.
A suspected drunken driver fleeing police crashed through barricades at the South By Southwest festival in Austin, slamming into a crowd outside a nightclub and killing a man and woman on a moped early Thursday, police said. Austin Police Chief Art Acevedo said the motorist plowed into people gathered in front of an emptying nightclub around 12:30 a.m., injuring 23 people, five critically. He eventually crashed and tried to make a getaway on foot. A police officer shocked him with a stun gun and took him into custody, Acevedo said at a news conference.

Police and paramedics got a call around 3:30 a.m. Friday from Braker Lane near Interstate 35. They arrived to find a silver Honda SUV crashed through the wall of a building.
The driver was pinned inside. Paramedics got him out and took him to University Medical Center Brackenridge in serious condition.
The building he drove into is an abandoned fire station. No one else was injured.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office says it happened around 3:45 a.m. on Gaylord Drive near Wells Branch Parkway.
Officials say the car drove through a back fence and hit the home. No one was injured in the crash.
Tow trucks arrived to remove the car shortly after. The male driver was arrested by deputies for suspicion of DWI.
