Birmingham, ALRobin Hattie Averette was driving on Daffron Road when for unknown reasons her vehicle left the roadway and struck two trees. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time, and was thrown from the vehicle during the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are still investigating this accident.

Birmingham, ALShortly after 3:00pm, a car containing two people veered off of Highway 10 and crashed into some construction equipment before catching on fire. The fire trapped the victims inside and they were both killed and severely burned, making identification difficult. We will udpate this accident as more information is released.

Birmingham, ALMadison Nicole Crawford of Duncanville died when her 1997 Toyota Avalon departed the roadway, hit a concrete barrier, and overturned on Lock 9 Road, which is about 3 miles south of Fosters in Tuscaloosa County. The crash remains under investigation.

Birmingham, ALValeria Hawkins was driving on I-20 with two passengers when her vehicle left the road and hit a tree. She died at the scene, and her passnegers were taken to a hospital in Tuscaloosa to be trated for their injuries. Troopers are as of yet unsure what caused the accident. Check back for updates!
