Fiery accident kills two near Tuscaloosa

Two people were killed before dawn Thursday morning in a fiery car accident near Tuscaloosa, according to Alabama State Troopers.

Troopers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine the cause.

A single-vehicle crash on Tuscaloosa County Road 10 claimed the lives of two.

Victims identified in fiery crash

The identities of the victims were withheld until confirmed by the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.

Men now identified in fiery crash from January

Because of the fire, the victim's identities were held until there was confirmation from the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences. Spann is from Hoover and Wujcic is from Montgomery, but the two men were in Tuscaloosa. Their wreck happened at 3:05 a.m. on Tuscaloosa County 10 seven miles southwest of Tuscaloosa. 
Shortly after 3:00pm, a car containing two people veered off of Highway 10 and crashed into some construction equipment before catching on fire. The fire trapped the victims inside and they were both killed and severely burned, making identification difficult. We will udpate this accident as more information is released.
