A trooper discovered that a 2001 four-door Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck was traveling east near 568 East Crothersville Road when it suddenly crossed into the eastbound lane, hitting a tree on the north side of the road. It then flipped into the ditch. A passerby discovered the crash when he got out of his vehicle to move the tree that had been struck by the pickup truck. Sgt. A father who was dropping off his child at a school in Nichols Hills accidentally struck and killed him Tuesday morning, according to Oklahoma City police.
