A multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor trailer and several pickup trucks in southwest Yorkville left at least one person injured Friday morning on Route 47 and Walker Road.
The driver of a pickup ran a stop sign on Walker Road near Route 47 about 7:15 a.m. and was T-boned by a tractor trailer, which forced another pickup to crash, according to Illinois State Police.
Police said serious injuries resulted from the crash, though the exact number of people injured was not immediately available.

A New Hampshire man is dead following a two-vehicle accident in Amherst.
Police say 62-year-old John Ferraro of Amherst was travelling east on Route 101A Friday afternoon when his vehicle crossed the centerline and struck an oncoming vehicle.
Ferraro was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other sports utility vehicle was taken to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Police say the accident is under investigation.
An 84-year-old man from Westfield is dead after a pick-up truck slammed into the driver’s side of a car he was driving in Northampton.
Authorities says the driver of the pick-up truck suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash that occurred Friday afternoon at the intersection of North King Street and Elm Street. Both drivers were taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, where the elderly man was pronounced dead.
