A 21-year-old Gobles resident is in critical condition after a crash on Stadium Drive Tuesday night. Just after 9 p.m., Kalamazoo Sheriff deputies were called out to the 5900 block of Stadium Drive. Authorities say the 21-year-old driver was pulling out of a business parking lot and entered the roadway. When the driver did that, a vehicle going westbound struck the other one. The 21-year-old was taken to a Kalamazoo hospital. The driver’s name has not been released. The driver of the other vehicle, a 22-year-old Kalamazoo resident, was not hurt in the accident.

The fiance of a woman who was killed in a collision on State Route 167 near Puyallup early Tuesday says she was 12 weeks pregnant when she died. Jason Speers said he and his fiancee, 34-year-old Shanna Huttenstine, were in a cab headed home to Tacoma from the hospital when their cab collided with a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup, a 48-year-old Puyallup man, later identified as Anderson Hamilton, was booked into jail for vehicular homicide after the collision.

All Amtrak and MARC rail service between Baltimore and Wilmington was suspended for several hours Tuesday evening after a man was killed on train tracks in Rosedale, rail and police officials said. Baltimore County Police believe the man failed to hear the train coming toward him at a high rate of speed after a stolen ATV in his possession "broke down on him next to the tracks just prior to the accident."

Honolulu police confirm a 73-year-old woman who was hit by a Grayline tour bus in Waikiki Tuesday morning has died. The accident happened at 9:33 a.m. on Kalia Rd. fronting Hilton Hawaiian Village. Police say the woman was attempted to cross Kalia Rd. and was not in a marked crosswalk when the bus hit her. The woman suffered massive head injuries and was rushed to Queen’s Medical Center where she died. According to police, speed, drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash. This is the 12th traffic fatality in Honolulu this year.

A police chase ended with the suspect’s car and the squad car in Arcade Creek in Sacramento. Sacramento police officers attempted to pull over the car near Marconi Avenue and Connie Drive in Sacramento. That’s when the suspect took off and then crashed into the creek. Both cars have since been removed from the creek bed. No one was seriously injured.

Two buses full of band members crashed into each other on their way to the parades this morning, according to an official with New Orleans Emergency Medical Services. Three students suffered non life-threatening injuries and were transported to Children's Hospital of New Orleans, said a spokeswoman for New Orleans EMS. The three students were from Martin Behrman Charter School, according to NBC affiliate WDSU. The buses, one of which appeared to suffer heavy damage to its engine block, were headed westbound on Interstate 10 near the Claiborne Avenue exit when they crashed at about 8:01 p.m.

A school bus full of elementary school children was hit by a car in Rowan County Tuesday morning. The crash was reported around 9:45 a.m. on Woodleaf Road in Rowan County just outside of Salisbury near W. Ridge Road. The school bus was bringing back 28 students from Woodleaf Elementary School who had gone to see a play at the Norvell Theater in downtown Salisbury. A car crossed the center line of the road hitting the bus head-on. A second bus full of students was behind the first bus, but it was not involved in the accident.

An attempted traffic stop in East Cleveland ended with a woman crashing into a railroad bridge on Euclid Avenue in Cleveland around 3 a.m. Tuesday. According to East Cleveland police, they attempted to stop a stolen Jeep driven by a woman in their city. The woman took off from the officer, shortly after taking off the driver crashed into the railroad bridge at East 123rd Street and Euclid Avenue. East Cleveland police stated that they were not chasing the woman at the time of the crash but witnessed the crash.

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department said one person is dead following a crash in the village of Bristol.

Sheriff David Beth said deputies were called to 21200 County Road C for a report of a two-vehicle accident.

Deputies and Bristol Fire and Rescue personnel found that an eastbound vehicle had lost control on a curved area of road in the snow and slid sideways into a westbound vehicle.

Beth said that Haley Reitz, 20 of the Town of Salem, was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy is scheduled Tuesday on an elderly pedestrian struck and killed by a snowplow in Pennsylvania. Emergency crews were called to a street in Reading shortly before 11:30 a.m. Monday. The 71-year-old victim, later identified as Gilbert Birdsey, was rushed to Reading hospital and pronounced dead a short time later. Police and the forensic unit of the Berks County district attorney’s office are investigating. Public works officials and the mayor’s office have not commented on the accident.
