The Fresno County Sheriff's Department spent hours near Reedley, trying to piece together evidence of how two men died in quiet, rural part of Fresno County.

A serious head-on crash has closed Route 4 in Farmington.

The crash involves two cars and has closed Route 4 from the I-84 exit to Mountain Spring Road.

Life Star is responding to the scene, according to police.

An autopsy has determined the identity of a man killed in a horrendous auto-pedestrian accident on Interstate 80 near the Utah-Nevada border earlier this week.

Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce said the State Medical Examiner’s Office had determined the victim of the early Monday morning accident was 20-year-old Christian Gutierrez, of Wendover.

Why Gutierrez was walking in or near the westbound lanes of I-80 about 1 mile east of Wendover remained unknown, however.

Utah Highway Patrol identified the body of a man killed on I-80 near Wendover.

Officers say 20-year-old Christian Gutierrez was run over several times.

Troopers say they found his body in the road after responding to a call around 3:30 a.m. Monday morning.

Police are still trying to figure out why he was on the road to begin with.

Pelham police say that a driver in a two-vehicle wreck has passed away from her injuries.

While police have withheld the driver's name, family and friends have identified her as 19-year-old Leslie Burnett.

The accident happened Monday, May 12 at the intersection of Helena Road and Wooddale Drive shortly before 3 p.m.

Police say an Acura Integra, driven by Burnett, pulled in front of a Mazda pickup truck after turning left onto Helena Road from Wooddale Drive. Burnett was airlifted to UAB where she later passed away.

Dallas police are continuing their search for a missing former assistant police chief.

Police are looking for 63-year-old Gregory Holliday, a former assistant police chief for the Dallas Police Department who was listed as a critical missing person on Monday.

On Tuesday, Maj. Jax Geron with the Dallas Police Department, tweeted that police believe Holliday received minor injuries in a pedestrian collision at Midway and Frankford Road sat about 4:15 p.m. Monday.

A 23-year-old Piedmont man was killed in a crash Monday evening, state troopers report.

The victim is identified as Jeremy Owen. Troopers say Owen was driving on Alabama 144 when his vehicle collided with another vehicle, went off the road and hit a tree near mile marker 23.7.

It happened at 5:55 p.m. about three miles west of Alexandria.

Sgt. Steve Jarrett said Owen was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The wreck is still under investigation.

An SUV struck a car pulling out of a Wright County gas station Sunday, killing a passenger in the larger vehicle.

The crash occurred about 12:20 p.m. Sunday along Hwy. 55 near 53rd Street NW. in Maple Lake, according to the State Patrol.

Janice P. Bowman, 71, of Annandale, Minn., died in the crash, the patrol said. Behind the wheel of the SUV was her husband, Robert J. Bowman, 71. He was hospitalized with noncritical injuries.

One child was killed, and three others were seriously injured in a wreck in front of Hampton Cove Elementary School.

Police said four kids and a woman were in a black Yukon that was involved in the collision with an 18-wheel dump truck around 2 p.m. Monday.

A 5-year-old child was killed and two other children remain in Huntsville Hospital. A third child suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown to a hospital in Birmingham. Their ages range from 3 to 9-years-old.

Emergency crews responded to the scene of a rollover wreck on I-565 that impacted rush hour traffic in Madison Monday afternoon.

The wreck happened around 4:30 p.m. near the Greenbrier Road exit. Police said a Pontiac Grand Am was traveling westbound when it struck a concrete divider in the median and overturned.

Traffic backed up for several miles in the westbound lanes while crews responded to the crash.

The driver and passenger were both transported to Huntsville Hospital. The driver's injuries, according to Huntsville Police, were life-threatening.
