Columbus, GA A female pedestrian, walking north on 2400 Block of Lafayette Parkway, died at the scene after she was struck by a 1997 Ford Explorer traveling in the same direction. The accident happened at 7:48 p.m. on February 23.
The crash is under investigation by the Opelika Police Department and they are withholding the name of the victim as of this time.
