Lange was returning home from work at about 1:00am and was northbound on I-17 when a wrong-way driver drove around a police car that was attempting to stop him and collided with her vehicle. Lange was then transported to the hospital and pronounced dead that afternoon. The 39-year-old male wrong-way driver and his passenger, a 38-year-old woman sustained minor injuries as well as the driver of another car that was swiped in the collision. It is unknown if alcohol played a roll in the crash. Check back for updates.
