Three people were killed around 9 am Saturday morning on US 30, near the village of Minerva. after a car and school bus crashed during freezing weather near Minerva. 16-year-old Savannah Russell lost control of her vehicle on the icy road and struck a school bus. Russell was pronounced dead at the crash scene. Storm Angione, 19 of Paris, Ohio and A'llyia Hancock, 18 of Minerva were in the vehicle with Russell. Angione and Hancock were also pronounced dead at the site. The school bus driver suffered minor injuries, but luckily no students on the bus were injured.

Washington State University student Silvia Muro-Escalante was headed west on State Route 26 just after 6 p.m. when her car left the roadway and rolled 40 yards. Her passengers, Karen Rodriguez and Magly Mendoza-Salinas, were also injured, and a third passenger was uninjured. Muro-Escalante was transported by MedStar to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Lewiston in unknown condition.

A 16-year-old Lenawee County teen was killed in a single vehicle accident Monday morning. Brody Fry was the driver and only occupant of a 2001 Ford pick-up truck that left the roadway on Skinner Highway and struck a tree. Police said Fry, an Onsted High School student, was pronounced dead at the scene. Fry was northbound on Skinner Highway at 7:40 a.m. Nov. 17 when his vehicle left the east side of the roadway, went airborne and struck a tree. The crash occurred  a-quarter-mile south of Rome Road in Rome Township.

At around 1:40pm, a Honda Civic travelling northbound was passing vehicles when it lost control on the wet road and veered off to the left. First, the car struck a utility pole, and the passengers, an 18-year-old man and 16-year-old girl, were ejected from the vehicle. Next, the car continued and crashed into a house, ejecting the 17-year-old male driver. Both of the male victims were pronounced dead on arrival, and the female victim was transported to a hospital with serious injuries, though is now in stable condition.

Two teenagers were injured when their car left the road on Interstate 10 and flipped. Both Javier and Scott suffered serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital. Both were wearing their seatbelts, but were traveling too fast for the weather conditions.

The Minnesota State Patrol is identifying the four people killed Friday near Sleepy Eye on icy roads. It happened on Highway 14 in Brown County just after 8 p.m. A 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix was headed westbound on Highway 14, going into a curve heading southbound, when it lost control and entered into the opposite lane of traffic. It was hit broadside by a 1999 Dodge Ram headed northbound into the curve.

Two adults and two children were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries following a car crash on Trout Brook Drive in West Hartford that severely damaged both cars involved, according to police. Police said 18-year-old Nhi Phan was driving southbound on Trout Brook Drive in the area of Fern Street around 10:40 Wednesday morning when she lost control of her vehicle, which slid into the northbound lane and struck a car driven by Erik Beard, 41.

One person was killed, another hospitalized following a single vehicle accident in north St. Louis City. Authorities say a teen driver was reportedly joy riding when he lost control on ice and crashed at North Euclid and Calvin Avenues at approximately 3:30 p.m. Witnesses at the scene said the driver was traveling at a high-rate of speed before he lost control and struck the tree. The 15-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The male teenage passenger was rushed to the hospital in critical, unstable condition.

A 17-year-old boy was suffering life-threatening injuries after a car crashed into a tree on icy roads in Redland Tuesday night, police said. Three people were in the car when it crashed at 15800 Redland Road just before 5:30 p.m., according to a spokesman for the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. The teen was taken to Oregon Health & Sciences University in a helicopter. Another person was taken by ambulance to an area hospital with minor injuries.

A Locust Grove High School student was killed as a result of an accident that happened due to inclement weather conditions. Authorities say the incident occurred on Coan Road, just east of Willow Creek Drive in McDonough when a pickup truck, driven by 17-year-old Nash Beever, struck a tree. The white Ford Ranger, which was also occupied by four other people, left the roadway around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
