Police said Hatch was not wearing a seat belt. Police said the car, driven by Noe Munoz-Rubio, 23, of Orland was traveling east on Indiana 4 when it left the south side of the road, rolled over and struck a tree before coming to rest on its top. Munoz-Rubio, who was wearing his seat belt, was trapped and had to be extricated from the car by Ashley firefighters, police said. He was flown to Parkview Regional Meidcann Center in Fort Wayne with head, neck and facial injuries. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash.

The 17-year-old and her passenger, Brittany Lemus, died at the scene. Everyone was wearing seat belts, troopers said. The teen victim has not yet been publicly identified.

A head-on collision at Highway 246 east of Lompoc Thursday afternoon left a teenager dead and a 62-year-old woman critically injured, according to the California Highway Patrol. The accident occurred at about 1:30 p.m. when a Honda Civic traveling east on Highway 246 drifted across the solid double yellow lines and slammed into a westbound Chevy Malibu, said CHP Officer John Ortega. The driver of the Civic, identified as Skyler Kindschy, 17, of Lompoc, was declared dead at the scene, Ortega said.

A Hamilton man struck by a hit-and-run driver outside his home two weeks ago has been released from a local hospital. He was run over at least three times as the driver tried to dislodge Hamilton from the car’s undercarriage before leaving the scene. That surveillance footage shows Hamilton being struck by a four-door, light colored 2006- to 2012 Nissan Altima occupied by three people around 2:28 a.m. in the area of Sylvan Avenue and Perilli Drive, police have said. A deadly car accident Saturday morning in Logan Canyon took the life of one young man, critically injured another and sent two more to the hospital. Utah Highway Patrol troopers say Bruce Wilson, 57, was driving a Ford pickup pulling a boat down Logan Canyon, with two young men with him. Those passengers have been identified as Morgan Wright, 14, and Ethan Fowers, 12. Lieutenant Lee Perry from UHP says he believes the three were coming home to Hooper after an outing on Bear Lake.

Galveston County sheriff's deputies responded to a call of a woman who was pinned between her car door and an ATM. Police say it happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. A citizen flagged down a deputy while he was doing a routine check at an area grocery store, according to authorities. Officials say the cause of the incident was that the woman attempted to make a transaction by leaning out of the driver's side door. That's when the car went forward, pulled left and struck the building where the ATM was located.

A 6-year-old West Finley boy was killed Wednesday night when he was ejected from a Jeep on Interstate 70 in Buffalo Township, police said. Dominic Rush was a passenger in a Jeep that lost control just east of the Taylorstown exit in Washington County at approximately 7:30 p.m., police said. The driver lost control, left the passing lane and traveled 342 feet in the median before the car rolled over on its roof. Dominic was ejected and pinned under the Jeep. Witnesses lifted the Jeep and removed the boy, police said. The driver was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital by a helicopter.

Alcohol was likely a factor in an overnight crash Tuesday in Edgewater that injured six teenagers when their vehicle went out of control and turned over, according to Anne Arundel County Police. The preliminary investigation revealed that the Toyota Camry was traveling eastbound on Central Avenue near Loch Haven Road at about 12:35 a.m. when the 18-year-old female driver lost control of the car, causing the Camry to skid, spin into a ditch and overturn onto its roof.

A woman is in critical condition from a rollover accident around 3:00 a.m. Thursday near Tooele. The accident happened at milepost 64, which is 40 miles west of the Tooele Exit. Utah Highway Patrol Troopers say the woman was driving westbound on I-80 when her car went off the road. The woman over corrected and the car rolled over. She was pinned beneath the vehicle. A medical helicopter was sent to the scene. Utah Highway Patrol says no lanes in the area are blocked at this time.
