State police said Crystal Rush was headed west in the passing lane near the Taylorstown exit at about 7:30 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle. It went off the road and traveled more than 300 feet in the median before rolling several times and landing on its roof, police said.
A 6-year-old West Finley boy was killed Wednesday night when he was ejected from a Jeep on Interstate 70 in Buffalo Township, police said.
Dominic Rush was a passenger in a Jeep that lost control just east of the Taylorstown exit in Washington County at approximately 7:30 p.m., police said. The driver lost control, left the passing lane and traveled 342 feet in the median before the car rolled over on its roof.
Dominic was ejected and pinned under the Jeep. Witnesses lifted the Jeep and removed the boy, police said.
The driver was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital by a helicopter.
State police are investigating the crash.
