Laxavier Young, 22, of Union Springs, was killed in a single car accident when his Chevy left the road and rolled on Macon County Road 19, ten miles east of Shorter.  He was not wearing a seat belt.

A boy was seriously injured Saturday by a driver who ran into the youth on North Street and sped away in the damaged car, dragging the boy's bicycle under the front bumper a few miles into Bristol. The victim was taken by ambulance to St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury. His condition was not available Saturday evening. The hit-and-run happened at 2:59 p.m. by 85 North Main St.

21 year old Hope Wheeler was heading east on JL Thomas Road when she drove across a railroad crossing. Police claimed she didn't see a CSX train coming. That train hit Wheeler's car spinning her off the road. Police said she was airlifted to Louisville for life threatening injuries. We've made a call to the hospital checking on Wheeler's status.

The wreck reportedly occured at about 1 p.m. at the corner of Farfield and W. Six Mile, where the traffic lights were not operating. The D-DOT bus crossed the center line and hit a minivan head-on. Twelve people were injured on the bus, and a 17-year-old woman and 35-year-old man in the minivan were hurt in the crash.

Three injured in car accident in the 4900 block of North 5th Street in Philadelphia, PA after a Volkswagen flipped, hitting five other vehicles, three of which were parked.  Two injured were cut out of the VW and taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, along with a third individual.

One killed in single car accident on Highway F in St. Francois County, MO when the driver did not follow the curve in the road, left the pavement, struck a sign, a concrete culvert, and a small tree before rolling and hitting a second tree, and was partially ejected.

Claudia Perez, 38, killed in car accident with Luis Tapia, 28, of Sunland, in the 10100 block of Sunland Boulevard in Shadow Hills, CA.  Both drivers were speeding when an Infinity,  driven by Perez, lost control and hit a telephone pole, rolled and crashed, trapping Perez inside the vehicle.  Investigations indicate that Tapia, the driver of a Nissan contributed to the cause of the accident which killed Perez.  Tapia was arrested for second degree murder following the accident .

McKala Miner, 29, of Pawnee and a five year old girl killed, a second passenger injured in car accident with James Goblet, 23 when his Dodge struck her vehicle head on and rolled.  Miner's  second passenger was transported to a local hospital.  Goblet was taken to Stillwater Hospital, treated, and released into trooper custody.  Clint Hobbs, 26,  a passenger in Goblet's vehicle, was taken to the hospital.  The cause of the accident is listed as a DUI.

Marcus Golden, 30, of Greenville killed in car accident on State 221 in Laurens County, SC.  Golden was driving a Honda when he crossed the center line and hit a Chevy driven by Theodore Rapp, 51, of Greenwood.  Rapp was transported to Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood,

 Benjamin Thomas Giffen, 24, of Helena, was killed in a single car accident on Valleydale Road in Hoover, AL when his Ford left the road and rolled.  He was thrown from the car.
